You speak. It types. Nothing leaves the room.
Mirage Lumen is offline dictation for dental clinicians — fast, faithful transcription, processed entirely on the device in front of you.
Speech in, text out.
Turns spoken clinical notes into accurate text, on-device. Built around how dental notes are actually written, and designed with a practising UK dentist.
It types. It does not think for you.
Lumen transcribes. It does not summarise, interpret, or suggest. What you say is what you get — that is the design, not a limitation.
Intended purpose
Mirage Lumen is a dictation tool. It records speech and produces a text transcript of what was said. It does not diagnose, monitor, or treat anything, and it offers no clinical recommendations or judgements. The clinician writes the notes; Lumen only types them.
For the practice manager.
Audio is processed and stored on the device. No cloud processor exists. There is nothing for us to hold, nothing to lose, and nothing we could be compelled to produce.
Patient information dictated into Lumen is processed and stored only on the clinician's own device. It never reaches Mirage Interactive — there is no mechanism by which it could.
No server, no shutdown.
Lumen is being built so the app outlives any company: no server, no shutdown, no dependency on us.
