Three things, one place.
- Dictate. Speak naturally. Lumen transcribes and applies the structure you usually write in — SOAP, FDI charting, perio chart, or one of your own templates.
- Edit. Touch up the transcript before saving. Voice-driven corrections, no menu-diving.
- Export. Copy out as plain text or a structured snippet ready for your practice software. Nothing is stored unless you save it.

Mirage Lumen does not diagnose, treat, or replace clinical judgement. Clinicians remain responsible for the accuracy of their records. We are not currently UKCA or CE-marked because the product does not meet the definition of a medical device under MDR or UK MDR 2002.

Common questions.
- Will it work without internet?
- Yes. Once installed, Lumen runs entirely on your device. The internet is only needed to download updates or templates we publish, both of which you can opt out of.
- Is this a medical device?
- No. Lumen is a productivity tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace clinical judgement. Clinicians remain responsible for the accuracy of their records.
- What happens to my notes if I lose my phone?
- Your notes are protected by your device passcode and the platform's storage encryption (iOS Data Protection or Android FBE). We add nothing on top because we never see the notes.
- Can I bring my own templates?
- Yes. Templates are local files, editable in plain text. Lumen does not impose a structure.
- How do you make money if you don't see any data?
- A subscription at launch. Pricing will be published when Lumen ships.
- Why dental specifically?
- Dental notes are short, structured, and consistent enough to be a good fit for on-device language models. Broader general-medicine notes need cloud-scale models that don't yet fit on a phone.
